After drawing out the main tones were blocked in using ultramarine blue.......... These tones were developed using white and blue........
Crimson red was washed on to start developing the skin colour.......... Cadmium yellow washes were added, and some detail with cerulean blue.......
The final painting was achieved after many thin layers of the two blues, crimson, yellow and white.
